ROCKY MOUNT - Jerry O'Brine Branham, Jr., age 69, entered Heaven on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born in Jefferson County, TX on September 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Jerry O'Brine Branham, Sr. and Kathleen Celeste Reed Branham. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Shelton.
Jerry proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Together, he and his wife Alice attended Rocky Mount Christian Church. A loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to all, Jerry will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Jerry is survived by wife of 43 years, Alice Lynch Branham of Rocky Mount; his two sons, Jerry O'Brine "Brine" Branham, III and his wife Candice, and Patrick Branham; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Cheyenne, Isaac, Aiden, and Addison Branham. He is also survived by his sister Candice Gail Monk and her husband, Teddy, of Richlands, VA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate Jerry's life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Rocky Mount.

Alice and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. I remember as a little girl sitting on his lap and calling him as I did Uncle Jerry. That was followed by a nose pinch and up your nose with a rubber hose! I remember us coming up to Rocky Mount a few times when I was younger. He was truly one of a kind.
