Javes Wallace Stancil

Rocky Mount - Javes Wallace Stancil, age 76, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Born in Johnston County, NC on September 20, 1939, he was the son of the late Eddie Stancil and Sallie M. Stancil. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Wallace was the owner of Stancils Lawn and Building Maintenance. He was also a member of the North Carolina Army National Guard and retired as a Staff Sergeant. Wallace touched the lives of so many people and will always be remembered with love and kindness. Wallace leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 54 years , Marlene Stanley Stancil of Rocky Mount; his daughters, Christy Randall and her husband, Greg of Mebane, NC and Jennifer Vire and her husband, Robert of Nashville; his sister Eula Mills of Rocky Mount. He also leaves to cherish his memory his beautiful grandchildren, Emma and Alex Vire, Julia and Luke Randall The Family would like to thank Wallaces faithful caregiver, Gail Jones, Hospice of Nash General, Dr. Martha Chestnutt and Dr. William Deans for the special care they all provided. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services with Pastor Fred Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives Monday, February 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Friend are also welcome to visit with the family during other times at the home of his daughter, Jennifer, 2036 Callies Court, Nashville, 27856.
