Jacquelyn Sykes Todd

SOCIAL CIRCLE, GEORGIA - Jacquelyn Sykes Todd, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Abbey Hospice, Social Circle Georgia. Born on January 21, 1929, she was the youngest daughter of Claude McCoy Sykes and Alice Beatrice Cook of Enfield, North Carolina. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, David H. Todd and a son, George Curtis Todd. Jacquelyn (Jackie) was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Throughout her life, she loved and cared for family, friends and neighbors when they were sick or unable to help themselves. To her children, she was a teacher, mentor, and an avid supporter in all their endeavors. In her professional life, she was the head teller at Planters (Centura) Bank and was highly respected by her customers and colleagues alike. She retired in 1991. Jacquelyn leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Mike Todd and wife Carole, Jack Todd and wife Angela, grandchildren Stephanie (Chris), Christopher, Elizabeth (Jared), Jeremy, Catherine, Kelly, and George. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, AJ, Kate, Ella and Hayden.
