ROCKY MOUNT - Jackie Duland Price, age 77, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Born in Wayne County, NC on December 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Monroe Altheus Price and Elva Erskine Fulghum Price. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sue Price. Duland is survived by his daughters, Robin Baker and husband, Garry and Sharon Griffin and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, J.P. Brantley, Nicholas Baker, Jonathan Bass, and Cameron Griffin; great- grandchildren, Ellah Grace Liles, and Emma Claire Brantley; brothers, Larry Price of Phildelphia, PA, Lecora Price of Goldsboro, and Gary Price of Goldsboro; and his nieces. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Dave Grogan officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.   1. Will really miss Duland. Known him for about 50 years. He was a good friend and quite a character. Also worked with him at NAPA auto parts.

  4. I knew Duland and Sue from church(Peoples Fellowship Baptist Church). Sat behind them for many years. Duland was quite the character and loved his wit. May God comfort his family in this time. RIP my friend.
