Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Helen – what a wonderful lady. On October 3rd, I learned that your time with us was growing short. It was hard for me to understand why such a person would have to leave us who has so much to offer. Your love and kindness throughout the years helped me especially when I was going through the rough times with my sister (Nancy). I specifically remembered our telephone conversation the day we lost Nancy. Your sisters, Doris and Margaret and you were like a rock (support) during that time. Please understand, you will always have a very special place in my heart. I will always remember your laughter and love that you exhibited. I am thankful that Margaret called me and afforded me the time to see you. I was reassured through your comments that day that you were ready to be with our Lord. It is no doubt in my mind that you are with him. It saddens me to know that you will no longer be with Doris and Margaret, because when I saw one of you, I saw all of you. You have two loving sisters. May you rest in peace. God be with you.

  2. Helen was married to my father, and was such a special person, wife and step mother to myself and two sisters. Her love of life, her laughter and warmth of family will always be remembered. I will not be able to attend Helen’s service, however my love and prayers are with all of her family. Flo Simpkins Davis

  3. My Mom, Geraldine Horn and I went to Aenon Baptist(next door to Helen’s home) for many years and were friends with the family. While it has been ages since I last saw her, I can still recall that beautiful smile and how pleasant the whole family was. She was a sweet and kind lady. I was blessed to have known her. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family. In Christ’s love, David Horn

  4. Ms. Helen, I will miss you deeply. Thank you for being a part of our BTAR family. We will never forget your beautiful smile or the deep love and devotion that you and your sisters have for each other. My deepest sympathies to your family. But we know that you are having a wonderful time with your Lord. Love you Ms. Helen. Tammie Whitehead PTA at BTAR

  5. I am sorry for your loss, please accept my heartfelt sympathy. While you are preparing to lay your loved one to rest, to sleep for a little while in death(John 1111), I hope you will find comfort in knowing that soon Jesus’ promise of the resurrection will be fulfilled; when he will awaken those who are sleeping in death, restoring them back to life, to live eternally on the Paradise earth.-John 528,28; Luke 2343. Until that blessed promise is fulfilled; may Jehovah God soothe your grieving hearts now and grant you peace and comfort.during this time of sorrow.-Matthew54.
