Gloria Denise Carroll

NASHVILLE - Gloria Denise Carroll, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born in Harnett County on November 19, 1953 to Earl Lee Sills, Sr. and Lizzie Parker Sills. In addition to her mother, Gloria is predeceased by her sisters, Darlene Shaffer and Susan Lowe. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Moose Lodge. Gloria is survived by her father, Earl Lee Sills, Sr. of Nashville, NC; sons, Kevin G. Carroll and wife, Amy of Benson, NC and Chase and Chance Bennett of Nashville, NC; sisters, Glenda S. Wood and husband, Timothy of Powhatan, VA, and Laurie Swanson and husband, Howard of Nashville, NC; brother, Earl Lee Sills, Jr. and wife, Roxanne of Nashville, NC; grandchildren, Tyler and Tucker and devoted friends, Jamie and Ike Dollar of Nashville, NC. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Reverend Phil Qualls officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
