NASHVILLE - Fannie "Jean" Eason Brantley, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on December 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Jasper Eason and Lillian Moore Eason. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Randolph Eason and sister, Margie Crumpler.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She will be missed by all who knew her, but her loving, fiery spirit will never be forgotten as she was everything to her family.
Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Dolphus "Ray" Brantley; children, Sharri Vick; James Joyner; Jennifer Moore and husband, Keith; Sherry Joyner; Sandra Edwards; and Amy Tant. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Eason; sisters, Rosa Roberts; Dorothy Barnes; and special friend, Jesse Keasling.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
