One of the best friends my family and I have ever had…In my younger days I went to Grady for advice numerous times…had to swallow my pride sometimes, but he was always correct!! My life would not had gone as well as it did without Grady…Softball was a major tie for both of us…I played and coached his team for a number of years…He and I made a lot of friends on his teams…won a lot of trophies that were on display in his State Farm office at all times…He was a father figure to me!! I love Grady…will miss him!!! Never will forget that Great Smile!!!! God has a new angel…

My first real job and employer who taught me so much! I worked with him several years. The most important gift in life I learn from Mr. Griffin was that when working with the public always treat people the way you want to be treated! That was Mr. Griffin 247. He and my brother, Eddie Joe Lynch, were close friends so he never was really my employer, he was a part of our family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends-
I had the pleasure of being Post Commander and working with Grady as my Adjutant for several years before life required me to move away. The memories of him and his dedication to the American Legion will never be forgotten. A great man, a great friend and a great American. Prayers for the family and am so sorry for your loss.
