RED OAK - Elizabeth "Suckie" Braswell Griffin, age 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Robert Griffin; brother, Dana Elsworth Braswell, Jr.; and sister, Jane Braswell Wood.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. She would call me from time to time and update me on the neighborhood news. I will miss that. I will always remember her as Lizzie Beth – that is what Dana called her.
