Elaine Radford Hatcher

Elaine Radford Hatcher went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was born on December 11, 1930 in McRae, Georgia and grew up in Soperton, Georgia. She lived in Rocky Mount, NC for twenty-three years before moving to Coventry House Assisted Living in Zebulon, NC. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-eight years, Hardwick Hatcher. She is survived by daughter, Katie Hill and husband, Wayne of Wake Forest; son Timothy Hatcher and wife, Kim of Wendell; grandchildren, Jonathan Hill and Rebecca Hatcher. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Coventry House of Zebulon and Transitions Life Care of Wake County for their care of Elaine. A private committal service will be held at a later date.   1. I was so sorry to hear of Elaine’s death. I remember her fondly. Hardwick was a former Pastor of Benvenue Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Elaine served faithfully by his side. Tim and Katie please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear Mother I remember your Dad always called her his bride when he spoke of her from the pulpit. I always thought that was so sweet. Many fond memories of your family’s time at Benvenue. God bless.
