Earldine “Deanie” Grove

ROCKY MOUNT - Earldine "Deanie" Grove passed away on May 26, 2017 at her home. Born July 22, 1938, she was the daughter of Delbert Mullens and Pauline (Mullens) Hernandez in Salem, West Virginia. Deanie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. She and her first husband, Herbert (deceased), moved to South Florida in the late 1950's and where together they raised their family. Deanie retired in 2002 after many years as an Executive Assistant. Upon retiring she moved to Rocky Mount, where she met and married her husband Michael Grove. She was active in her church community and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Deanie is survived by her husband, Michael Grove of Rocky Mount; a sister, Cathy Frankel (Warren) of Anderson SC; her son, Jeffrey A. Milum (Lynette Smith) of Mountain View, HI; her daughter Laurie Lynne Macky of Wilmington; granddaughter, Amberlyn Leilani Milum of Mountain View, HI; grandson, Tristan Joseph Macky of Wilmington; her extended family; her Church on the Rise family, and a host of beloved friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Church on the Rise, 3520 Bishop Road, Rocky Mount, NC with the Rev's. Richard Gurganus and Jason Cockrell officiating.
