Cindy Marie Gibson, age 58, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. Born in Scotland County, NC on December 17, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Robert Addison Ingram.
Cindy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be dearly missed and cherished by all.
Cindy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Garry Gibson of 33 years; son, Michael Dale Kimbrell, Jr. and his wife, Jaclyn of Laurinburg, NC; daughter, Amanda Gibson Coppedge and her husband, Michael “Lee” of Nashville, NC. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jackson and Bryant Kimbrell, Justin Coppedge; her loving mother, Margaret Wright Ingram and sisters, Barbara “Bobbie” Locklear and her husband, Earl, Elizabeth “Beth” Strickland and her husband, Barry, Lou Anne “Anne” Priest and her husband, Melvin all of Laurinburg, NC. Cindy also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 East Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856 with the Pastor Ralph Brown officiating. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Laurel Hill, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Cindys name to the Autism (Camp Royal) Society of North Carolina, 505 Oberlin Rd Suite , 230, Raleigh, NC 27605 or to the Nashville United Methodist Church, 209 East Washington Street, Nashville, NC 27856.

I am heartbroken to hear of my friend’s passing. I loved my buddy Cindy. We worked at Ward Drug together. We always had a lot of fun and laughter. Thinking and praying for Garry, Amanda and Dale and her mother, siblings and family. RIP my buddy.
