Cindy Evonne Privette Harris

January 15, 1977 ~ September 21, 2024

NASHVILLE – Cindy Evonne Privette Harris, age 47, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born in Wake County, NC on January 15, 1977, she was the daughter of the late William Frederick Privette and Jean Clark Privette. She was also preceded in death by her 12 year old canine companion, Zoe.
Cindy was a devoted wife to Jamey with whom she shared 33 wonderful years together including 22 years of marriage. A selfless and caring woman, she always put others before herself, with her children being her highest priority, Alex, Andy, and Alyssa. Cindy had a deep love for animals, and she was especially proud to be the dog mom to Zoe, Lucy, and Caydee. Zoe held a special place in her heart, and her passing left a significant void, but then Cindy carried over that love to Lucy and then to Caydee. Cindy found peace and joy in nature with her family and dogs, whether it was relaxing on the beach or enjoying the simple pleasures of camping. Most cherished by Cindy were her family, friends, and her fur babies.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Jamison “Jamey” Harris; her sons, Alex Wrazen-Privette and Andrew Harris, her daughter, Alyssa Harris; and her sisters, Nancy Privette and Debbie Kennedy.
A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Cindy’s memory to Nash County Animal Shelter, 921 N. 1st Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. You may share memories and condolences with the family by visiting www.wheelerwoodlief.com.

  4. Jamey and family, there are no words to bring you comfort during this difficult time but we are thinking of you and keeping Cindy close in our hearts

  5. I feel like a piece of my heart has been ripped away! Can’t believe that 6 months ago we were getting pedicures in the mountains. We have shared so many memories together and I will miss you everyday sweet girl! All my love cuz!

  6. My husband and I were introduced to Cindy and Jamie for the first time at the beach by Cindy’s cousin, Theresa Blackmon. Jamie and Jason (my husband) developed a fast friendship, or, as some may say a “Bromance” lol We had so much fun. At first, we thought Cindy was a bit shy, but we quickly learned just how wrong we were! Cindy was the life of the party and she knew how to dance and have a good time. Cindy was loyal, loving, kind and generous and she loved Jamie and kids something fierce!! We took a girls trip to Nashville and had an absolute blast! Cindy of course kept us all inline and made sure we always made it back to our place safe and sound. I will always cherish the times we spent together. Cindy lived every second of her life they way she wanted. She fought a tough battle, but now thankfully, she’s in the arms of our Heavenly Father, suffering no more. Rest in Peace beautiful friend and Fly High with the Angela and watch over those of us left behind🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️

  7. What a pleasure it was to know you. I will remember our trip to Nashville always. Fly high sweet Cindy! Xxoo

    Love you!
    Dominique

  8. You will be in our hearts forever Cindy, and your family as well during this difficult time.
