Carlette Brady Arnold

Rocky Mount - Carlette Brady Arnold, age 92, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was born in Rocky Mount on August 19, 1922 to the late Elizabeth Brady and Shelton Clayton Brady. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Hubert "Buddy" Arnold, her daughter, Beverly Jo Thomas and her grandson, Stephen Lee Thomas. Carlette is survived by her three daughters, Carlette A. Anderson and her husband, John, of Vero Beach, Florida, Beezie A. Whitaker and her husband, George, of Rocky Mount, and Chrysta Arnold of Raleigh; her five grandchildren, Ryan Thomas of Williston, Florida, Grey M. Bryan of Coral Gables, Florida, Cameron D. Currie of Arnold, Maryland, Forbes Dixon of Raleigh, and Brady T. Keeter of Raleigh; and her six great grandchildren, Rylee and Ralston Thomas, Jackson and Ande Bryan and MacKenzie and Tyler Currie. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Boulevard, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family will meet friends at the graveside following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 301 South Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or of a charity of one's choosing. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Rochelle Wooten, Katie Dortch and the staff of Brekenridge Retirement Center for the professional quality of care and service provided to Carlette.
