  1. I always enjoyed seeing your sweet mama at Almands Drug. She will be missed by her customers. I will be praying for your family.

  2. Barbara, It was a pleasure meeting you today, I will truly miss seeing your moms smiling face at Almond’s. May she rest easy in the arms of God. Tammy Armstrong Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

  3. Sorry for the loss of your love one. John 528, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 213, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God’s memory. Hope this thought brings comfort.

  4. My Mama Kathleen Styers rode to work together with Betty Lou for many years, and it was always an adventure for them. I am sure Mama was waiting for Betty Lou at the pearly gates to start a new adventure. The good Lord and angels will have their hands full with these two sweet ladies. I can hear them now….did you see all that makeup Mrs. (Fill in a name) had on Who does she think she is fooling…she has to be at least 90, bless her heart.

  5. Betty Lou will always be remembered by those of us who worked with her at ALMANDS as The bionic granny. One kidney, three hip replacements, no gall bladder and bum knees. She showed up everyday, well put together and pushing her ‘buggy’ up and down the aisles doing her job. She was never grumpy or sullen, even when she ‘felt a bit erky’. What a great word. I will miss you LouLou, and thanks for the chicken thighs. Love, Kathy
