Betty Gail Lewis Bulluck

October 16, 1949 ~ November 18, 2020

ELM CITY - Betty Gail Lewis Bulluck, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Born in Nash County, NC on October 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Henry Edwin Lewis and Annie Mae Taylor Lewis Rooks. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Marie Lewis Michaletz; and her niece, Kimberly Renee' Michaletz. A woman of great faith, Betty was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a very active and faithful servant who loved her family, her church family, and her friends. Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Most of all, her heart and spirit will forever be remembered. Betty is survived by her husband of 53 years, Sidney Bruce Bulluck; her daughter, Beverly Ann Bulluck of Rocky Mount; her brothers, Jimmie Lewis (Eppie), Gene Lewis, John Lewis (Becky), Ray Lewis (Ida); and her sister, Nancy Lewis Pridgen (Wayne Trull). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor CJ Cauble officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.   4. I’m so sorry to hear that Betty Gail passed away. The Lewis Family lived next to me in the mid ’50’s. I remember all of you so well. Betty Gail was a year older than me. We used to play together in the back yard. You were such a nice family. My deepest condolences to each you you. God Bless !
