Beatrice Weaver Pearson

Rocky Mount - Beatrice Weaver Pearson, age 82, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on September 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John Weaver and Lula Proctor Weaver. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Thomas Pearson; two brothers and two sisters. Beatrice loved listening to country music and especially loved watching NASCAR. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, she will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew her. Beatrice leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, William T. Pearson, Jr. of Rocky Mount, Robbie Pearson of Rocky Mount, and Steve Pearson and his wife, Teresa, of Rocky Mount; daughters, Linda Ellis and her husband, John, of Rocky Mount, Becky Vick and her husband, David, of Whitakers, and Sue Norris of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Leroy Davis officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service. The family would like to especially thank her sister-in-law, Mamie Esther Weaver, and niece, Erma Jean Williams, for their love and care for Beatrice throughout the years.
