Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Ruth has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! She and my mother, Ila Bishop Godwin, were best friends growing up and remained close friends until my mother died a year ago, at age 94. I was Ruth and Alton’s flower girl in their wedding when I was 6 years old! I’m 74 now, so that was a long time ago! Over the years, Ruth and I would talk about me being her little flower girl, and I signed most of my correspondence with her that way! May light perpetual shine upon her, and may she rest in peace.
