ROCKY MOUNT - George "Patrick" Zammiello, Jr., age 42, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was born in Nash County, NC on October 19, 1978. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Dole Zammiello. Patrick worked for Coastal Federal Credit Union for 15 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Patricks special interests included Star Trek, business, and finance. He spent his free time with his family visiting Biltmore Estate and various gardens, parks, and Arboretums. Patrick loved going with his son to Target and holding his baby daughter while he worked from home. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Patrick is survived by his wife, Gretta Coley Zammiello of Rocky Mount; his father, George Patrick Zammiello, Sr. (Mary) of Spring Hope; his son, Benjamin Patrick Zammiello; his daughter, Azrielle Rose Zammiello; his brother, Joseph Adam Zammiello (Sarah) of Nashville; his mother-in-law, Sheryl Coley of Rocky Mount; and his brother-in-law, Adam Coley (Melanie) of Rockledge, FL. A Celebration of Patricks Life will be held at First United Methodist Church, 100 South N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is requesting the need for social distancing and wearing of masks due to health concerns faced around our nation at this time.   7. It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I send my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of our beloved Patrick Pat Zammiello. Pat was my coworker and friend and I miss him greatly. He was also a devoted family man who truly loved Gretta, Ben and Azrielle with all of his heart. To them l share the last words that Pat shared with me. You never know what God has for you. May God always keep your hearts and minds filled with happy and loving memories of him.

Patrick was an absolute pleasure to work with, there was never a time when I called his line for some assistance and he was more than willing to help or get me to right person to help and he always followed up to make sure I got the help and was all set. With us being social media friends, he always saw when i posted things about my son and it was never a time that he did not ask me about my son and we would get to chatting about his kids, and oh how did he love and adore them and his family, he spoke so highly of his family and was so proud to be a dad. I pray for his wife and that she finds strength in this time and that she holds on to all the wonderful memories they shared and know that God is here and that he just needed his son with him, I know it maybe hard to understand right now, but god always has a plan and you will understand his plan in due time. May god continue to bless you and your beautiful babies and family, you all are in my heart!

  27. I only knew Pat for a short period of time at CFCU. But people here at Coastal spoke very highly of him. He helped me many times with issues that I had. It was also nice to know that he was from my home town as well. He will be truly missed and I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.
