Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To the family,
I feel your pain in my heart! I recently lost my father, if I may share what helped me cope (and if it helps you in some small way, that is my wish).
Reminisce often! Memories what a gift, so share that gift and receive it when other’s share how they touched their lives! Let your friends help! If that’s just to sit quietly together, do it. It makes others who don’t know what to do or say feel like they’re still helping, even in the smallest gesture—it bonds communities! And never doubt the truthfulness in the Bible. At Acts 24:15 it assures us of the hope that our loved ones WILL live again! That’s what resurrection means “to stand back up” after “being laid down”.
    With my deepest sympathy!

  2. THIS WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE M H PASSED THROUGH IT. A WONDERFUL PERSON. MAY GOD BLESS THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

  3. I first met M.H. Through my dad who owned a tire company in Goldsboro. He was full of life and so kind. Prayers and hugs to the family. He certainly will be missed.

  4. This kind faith filled man stole my heart from the being an old neighbor around the corner to a fellow parishioner at St. Andrews he will permanently be engraved in my sole. He definitely lit up heaven the minute the gates opened up for him as he was always such a servant of our Father here on earth. May Peace be with Deana and the rest of his family as they navigate the rest of their lives here on earth knowing the best husband, father and papa is watching over them and guiding them through their lives to live it as lovingly and graciously as he lived his. He leaves behind a great legacy and a wonderful family to see it continues to live on through them.

  7. Such a fine, fine man M.H. was, and what a great, long life he lived. Quick with a smile and a good word, he was always such a pleasure to encounter. M.H. lent a true servant’s spirit to everything he did, and he was an inspiration and a role model to so many people. I came to know M.H. through his outstanding service to Scouting, where he devoted untold hours to the betterment of young people in Rocky Mount, Eastern North Carolina, and beyond. My most sincere condolences to the Pridgen family and my gratitude for the life of this memorable man.

  8. Hoping the family is doing well. I have great memories with him when I was a child. I am Linda Gail’s granddaughter so we used to visit him with her. Love and prayers ❤️
