Cruising will never be the same without Robert…the McDonalds and the Bunn’s have been friends for over 45 years…as have Will and Marc. Everybody loved Robert …Robert who loved to strut in his dress clothes and his shagging shoes! On his last cruise Feb 2018 he led the way to the Piano Man Lounge, talked to the Piano Man who shook his head about not knowing a song while handing Robert the microphone so he could sing Some Enchanted Evening .All the ladies came to hug him while he got a standing ovation. He was a star on that Princess Ship for the rest of the sail. So
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Marc, and family. God’s grace is sufficient for every need and heartache.
I’m very sorry for your loss. I imagine Robert is partying in Heaven with Jimmy V! GO PACK!!!
May God take you by the hand and guide you through the coming days.
Prayers for all of Robert’s family. Lots of fond memories of our childhood and Sunday’s spent in our Grandmothers backyard. Love from an older first cousin!
My heart hurts for you and Marc and I’m so sorry not to be there to give you a hug and say my final goodbye to Robert. He’s been a good friend and a big presence at so many good times over the years. He will be missed.
I fondly recall when Marc and his father took me to the ACC tournament. Robert made me feel like family that day. My money was no good that day. We had a fine time, sharing our mutual passion for ACC basketball. I recall to this day, watching them interact, that I thought I wish I had a relationship with my father like Marc has with his Daddy. They weren’t just father and son, they were best friends, and always will be. Robert will be sorely missed and fondly recalled always. He was a real gent and a prince of a fellow. Rest in peace, Robert. Deepest condolences to all his family and friends.
