Julia G. Morris December 09, 2009 KENLY - Julia G. Morris, 65, went home for Christmas on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was born June 5, 1944 in Mineral VA, daughter of Oscar Lee Glass and Rebecca Harper Glass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Everette Morris III; sister, Katie Bonilla; and brothers, John Glass and William Glass. She was a member of New Life Church in Lucama. Julia was a one of a kind person who was loved by all and who never met a stranger. We love you and will miss you but until we meet again, Merry Christmas! She leaves her legacy behind to daughter, Patricia Bednarz and husband Billy of Kenly; four sons, Walter Keller Jr. and wife Kim of Georgia, Oscar Keller of Virginia, James Keller and wife Marian of Virginia, and Robert Keller and wife Jackie of Elm City; step-daughter, Barbara Rigsby and husband Chris of Carteret County; two step-sons, Scooter Morris and wife Jackie of Carteret County and Jasper Morris of Carteret County; sister, Barbara Litchford of Richmond; and brother, Robert Glass of Richmond. She will also be remembered by nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild, four nieces, and three nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives 7-8:30 pm on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and other times at the home. A funeral service to celebrate Julia's life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2009 in the Funeral Home chapel. Pastor John Scott will officiate. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville NC 27834.
