Janice Bellamy Roberson

Janice Roberson, age 88, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Born in Halifax County on May 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James Long Bellamy and Mattie Hamill Bellamy. She is also preceded in death by husband, Nathan Roberson, and her three brothers, Leo Bellamy, Leon Bellamy, and Graham Bellamy.
Janice spent her life dedicated to the care and nurturing of her family and serving her Lord. She was a long time member of the Enfield Baptist Church where she devoted much of her time. Mrs. Roberson will also be remembered for her 40 years as a bookkeeper for Dr. Joyner and Dr. Craig whose office was in Enfield at the time. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she will be truly missed.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Martha Auldridge of Topeka, KS; two grand children, David Auldridge of Topeka, KS and Todd Auldridge and his wife, Tammy, of Cleveland, OH; and two great-grandchildren, Graham and Avery Auldridge.
A service to remember Janice will be held at 2:00 pm at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Enfield Baptist Church, 200 W. Burnette Avenue, Enfield, NC 27823.

Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible student. I’m am so deeply sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258 that says soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more and when we will live in perfect conditions. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during these difficult times.
